Tradeshift does not publish pricing. Its buyer license is quoted on invoice volume, network usage and e-invoicing compliance scope, there is no free trial, and onboarding is billed on top. Suppliers can pay too: one Tradeshift customer's help center says suppliers above 600 invoices a year are charged a fee. If you need US invoices read, coded, matched and approved rather than a global compliance network, AutoPayables costs $49 or $149 a month, published.

What an AP team gets without a Tradeshift quote
Both paid AutoPayables plans include the invoice work most US buyers are shopping for.
Invoice capture on every plan
Upload PDFs or phone photos in bulk. Vendor, dates, totals and every line item are read for you.
Line level GL coding
Each line gets a suggested GL account, and the next bill from that vendor arrives coded the same way.
Two and three way matching
Bills are checked against purchase orders and receipts before anyone approves them.
Duplicate invoice checks
Repeat invoice numbers and lookalike bills are flagged before they reach a payment run.
Ledger sync
Approved bills, vendors and payments sync to QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite and Sage on Growth and Scale.
Payment files for your bank
Download NACHA ACH files, check PDFs and Positive Pay, then pay through the bank you already use.
How to price Tradeshift against a published plan
An afternoon with last month's invoices gives you a number to hold up against the quote.
Count your invoices and suppliers
Pull last month's invoice count, the number of active suppliers, and any that send more than 600 invoices a year.
List the countries you invoice in
If every supplier is in the US, the compliance scope that drives a Tradeshift quote is scope you do not need.
Run a real batch through AutoPayables
Upload those invoices, review the coding and matches, and approve anything over your threshold.
Compare the yearly totals
Put $288 or $888 a year next to the Tradeshift subscription plus onboarding, and decide with both numbers on the table.
Where a Tradeshift quote buys more than a US AP team needs
An honest read for teams whose pain is the invoice inbox, not foreign tax clearance.
Tradeshift quote
- No public price, a demo comes before any number
- No free trial
- Onboarding billed as a separate project
- Suppliers can be charged above 600 invoices a year
AutoPayables at $49 or $149 a month
- Price on a public page, start on your own
- First 20 invoices as a one time trial
- No setup fee, dedicated onboarding on Scale
- Your suppliers never pay us anything
Teams that compare Tradeshift pricing with AutoPayables
They usually have a Tradeshift proposal and a mostly domestic supplier base.
US subsidiaries of global groups
Headquarters runs Tradeshift for Europe, but the US entity just needs its domestic bills captured and approved without joining a seven figure rollout.
Distributors with PO heavy purchasing
Hundreds of supplier invoices against purchase orders each month, where three way matching matters more than a network.
Controllers asked to cut software spend
A published monthly price is easier to defend in a budget review than a multi year quote with services attached.
Teams whose suppliers refused a portal
Vendors keep emailing PDFs. Reading those PDFs well beats forcing every supplier onto a network account.
Tradeshift pricing at a glance
Tradeshift does not publish a price list. Its pricing URL returns a 404, and every buying path on tradeshift.com ends at a "Request demo" button. ERP Research lists the model as quote based with no free trial, and says enterprise quotes depend on transaction and document volume, network usage and compliance scope. Everything else you will find online is a third party estimate. The table separates what Tradeshift or its customers state from what directories guess, so you know which numbers to trust in a budget.
| Cost element | What is on the record | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Buyer license for Pay (AP automation) | Not published. Quoted per deployment on volume, network usage and compliance scope | ERP Research pricing profile |
| Free trial | None offered | ERP Research and ITQlick |
| Onboarding | Estimated at about $5,000 for small firms and $20,000 to $50,000 for enterprises | ITQlick estimate, not a Tradeshift figure |
| Maintenance | Estimated at $149 a quarter | ITQlick estimate |
| Seller (supplier) fees | Depends on the buyer. Block's supplier help center says Tradeshift applies a fee to suppliers whose total company invoice count exceeds 600 invoices a year | Block's Tradeshift help center |
| Typical negotiated discount | About 15% on average | Vertice, based on G2 reviews |
| AutoPayables Growth | $49 a month, or $288 a year billed annually, 200 invoices a month | Our pricing page |
| AutoPayables Scale | $149 a month, or $888 a year billed annually, unlimited invoices | Our pricing page |
The honest read: the only hard numbers in the Tradeshift row are the supplier threshold and the absence of a trial. ITQlick's first year range of roughly $5,596 to $56,596 for ten users is built from its own onboarding and maintenance estimates, and its page contradicts itself on whether a free version exists. Use it as a sanity check, not a forecast.

How much does Tradeshift cost?
Tradeshift costs whatever your quote says, and the quote is driven by three things: how many invoices and documents flow through the platform, how much of the Tradeshift Network your suppliers use, and how many countries' e-invoicing rules you need covered. A US company receiving 800 domestic invoices a month and a multinational clearing invoices in Italy, Mexico and France are buying different products under the same logo. Expect an implementation fee on top of the subscription, and ask for both in writing before the first demo ends.
What drives a Tradeshift quote up
- Compliance scope. Tradeshift says it covers e-invoicing compliance in 70 countries, including 12 clearance countries, and that it is certified for the French mandate. Each regime you switch on is scope you pay for.
- Network usage. Onboarding suppliers onto the network, plus any EDI connections through Babelway, adds services work.
- Modules. Pay (AP automation), Buy (procure to pay), the B2B marketplace and Go (business credit cards) are separate products. Bundles look cheaper per module and cost more in total.
- Term length. Multi year commitments are the usual lever for a lower annual rate.
Tradeshift seller pricing and what your suppliers pay
Tradeshift seller pricing is the part buyers forget to ask about. Tradeshift is a two sided network, so suppliers have accounts too. Some buyers absorb the cost: UPS's supplier help center says creating an account and using Tradeshift is free for UPS suppliers. Others do not fully: Block's help center says there is no cost from Block, but Tradeshift applies a fee to suppliers whose total company invoice count exceeds 600 invoices a year. If you roll Tradeshift out to your vendors, some of the higher volume ones may get a bill they did not expect, and they will call your AP team about it.
Before you sign, ask the Tradeshift rep three questions and get the answers in the order form: which of your suppliers will be charged, at what invoice count, and whether you can cover their fee centrally. A supplier fee you did not plan for shows up later as slow onboarding and suppliers who keep emailing PDFs anyway.
Where Tradeshift is worth the price
Tradeshift is built for a problem most US mid-market AP teams do not have. If you invoice or get invoiced in countries where a tax authority must clear each invoice before it is valid, a network with local compliance built in saves you from running separate providers country by country. Tradeshift also claims 10 million invoice documents a month on its platform, 70% faster invoice processing and 2.15 times higher straight through processing for AP customers. Those are vendor figures, but the compliance footprint is real, and we do not compete with it. AutoPayables does not run an e-invoicing network and does not handle multi-country tax clearance.
Where a published price fits better
Most teams who search Tradeshift pricing receive domestic supplier invoices as PDFs, by email, and post them to QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite or Sage. For that work you need invoices read, coded, matched to purchase orders, approved and paid. You do not need a global network. That is what AutoPayables does for a price that is on a public page:
- AI capture of the header and every line item from PDFs and photos
- Line level GL coding that learns each vendor
- Two and three way matching against purchase orders and receipts
- Duplicate invoice checks before a bill reaches a payment run
- Dollar threshold approvals with a full decision log
- NACHA ACH files, check PDFs and Positive Pay files for the bank you already use
- Sync of approved bills, vendors and payments to QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite and Sage on Growth and Scale
The limits are worth stating plainly. Approvals are single threshold, not multi level routing chains. We generate payment files for your bank rather than moving money ourselves. There is no supplier network and no foreign e-invoicing compliance. If any of those is a hard requirement, Tradeshift or another enterprise suite belongs on your shortlist.

How to negotiate a Tradeshift quote
- Bring a competing number. ERP Research names a competing quote or a published competitor rate as the strongest lever. A public $49 or $149 monthly price is exactly that kind of anchor for the AP module.
- Split the modules. Ask for Pay priced alone before you look at a bundle.
- Cap the services. Get onboarding as a fixed fee with named deliverables, not a time and materials estimate.
- Settle supplier fees up front. Put the 600 invoice threshold question in writing.
- Trade term for price only at the end. A multi year commitment is worth a discount, so hold it back until the other terms are settled.
If you would rather see the number before talking to anyone, create your account and run last month's invoices through AutoPayables. Your first 20 invoices are a one time trial.
Frequently asked questions
Tradeshift does not publish a price. Its buyer license is quoted on invoice and document volume, network usage and e-invoicing compliance scope, with onboarding billed separately. ITQlick estimates onboarding at about $5,000 for small firms and $20,000 to $50,000 for enterprises, but those are directory estimates, not Tradeshift figures.
Seller pricing is what suppliers pay to use the Tradeshift network, and it depends on the buyer who invited them. UPS says Tradeshift is free for its suppliers. Block's help center says Tradeshift applies a fee to suppliers whose total company invoice count exceeds 600 invoices a year.
Often, but not always. Many buyers cover supplier access, and their help centers say so. Block's supplier help center states that Tradeshift charges suppliers whose yearly invoice count across the company is above 600, so high volume vendors should check the terms of the specific buyer that invited them.
No. ERP Research and ITQlick both report that Tradeshift offers no free trial, and the tradeshift.com buying path is a demo request. If you want to test AP automation on your own invoices first, AutoPayables lets you process your first 20 bills before choosing a paid plan.
Pay is Tradeshift's e-invoicing and AP automation platform for supplier invoices. Go is its business credit card product. They are listed as separate products on tradeshift.com, so ask for each priced separately if a proposal bundles them.
If your suppliers are mostly in the US and you do not need foreign e-invoicing compliance, a dedicated AP tool with a published price usually costs less. AutoPayables is $49 a month for 200 invoices or $149 a month for unlimited, with capture, GL coding, PO matching, duplicate checks and approvals included.
No. AutoPayables does not run a supplier network or clear invoices with foreign tax authorities. It reads the PDFs and emails your suppliers already send, codes and matches them, routes approvals, and creates payment files for your bank. Teams with e-invoicing mandates abroad still need a compliance network.
