Short answer: Ariett AP Invoice no longer has a price, because it can no longer be bought. AvidXchange, which acquired Ariett in November 2017, decommissioned the platform, and its own FAQ states that Ariett "will no longer be accessible after November 1, 2025". Directory listings that still quote per-user prices for Ariett are stale. If you are pricing AP invoice automation today, the real question is which replacement fits the way you used Ariett, and what that replacement costs.
What happened to Ariett?
Ariett was a purchase-to-pay suite from Pembroke, Massachusetts, covering requisitions, purchase orders, AP invoice automation and travel and expense reporting on one platform, available in the Microsoft Azure cloud or on premises. AvidXchange announced the acquisition on November 20, 2017, describing Ariett as a cloud purchase-to-pay provider for enterprise and midmarket businesses.
In early 2025 AvidXchange published a decommission notice and an FAQ. The FAQ gives the reason as a decision "to decommission Ariett to focus on enhancing other solutions that align with our long-term strategy", and it is blunt about the consequence: after November 1, 2025, "you will no longer be able to access Ariett, including any stored data or functionality within the platform." On replacements it says only that AvidXchange "may have alternative solutions that could meet your needs." It does not name a specific migration product.
How much does Ariett AP Invoice cost?
Nothing, because it is not for sale. Some software directories still show Ariett AP Invoice with per-user monthly prices in the $8 to $12 range, plus implementation estimates. Those listings predate the shutdown and no longer describe anything you can buy or renew. If a directory quote is what brought you here, treat it as a signal about what a small purchase-to-pay tool used to cost, not as a current price.
What does an Ariett replacement cost in 2026?
It depends on which parts of Ariett you actually used. The table below lists published prices where vendors publish them, taken from each vendor's own pricing page.

ReQlogic describes itself as built exclusively for Microsoft Dynamics (GP, Business Central, NAV and SL), which matters because many Ariett customers ran Dynamics. ProcureDesk and Compleat both published Ariett migration pages ahead of the November 2025 deadline.
Which Ariett alternative should you choose?
Start from the module that hurt most when Ariett went dark. Ariett customers used it in three different ways, and no single replacement is the best answer for all three.
If you mainly used Ariett AP Invoice
You need invoice capture, coding and an approval step before payment. That is the core of AP automation software, and it is where the price range is widest: from a flat $49 a month to quote-only enterprise contracts. If you mainly used Ariett Purchase
Requisition approval before a purchase order exists is a procurement workflow, not an AP one. If that front end is what your team misses, look at a dedicated tool for purchase requisitions and PO approvals and pair it with AP automation on the invoice side, rather than paying for a large suite to get one module. If you used the whole suite
Requisitions, POs, invoices and expenses on one login is what the suites sell. Tipalti offers procurement and expense modules alongside AP, and AvidXchange may offer its own products to former Ariett customers. Expect a sales process, an implementation project and a contract term rather than a published price.
Is AvidXchange the natural replacement for Ariett?
It is the obvious first call, since AvidXchange owned Ariett, but its FAQ promises only that it "may have alternative solutions", and it publishes no pricing. Before you sign, read the contract terms. AvidXchange's published terms and conditions say the agreement "shall automatically renew for successive twelve-month Renewal Terms" unless written notice is given at least thirty days before expiration. What happened to Ariett data after the shutdown?
AvidXchange's FAQ told customers to back up any historical data they needed to keep before November 1, 2025, and offered to connect customers with a team to help back up files. After that date the FAQ says stored data is no longer accessible through Ariett. If your team exported invoice PDFs or reports before the deadline, keep them with your AP records; the IRS generally expects supporting documents to be kept for as long as they may be needed for a tax return, which is often three to seven years depending on the situation.
What to check before choosing an Ariett replacement
- Which ERP you run. Many Ariett customers were on Microsoft Dynamics GP. GP's product enhancements and tax updates end on December 31, 2029, so a replacement you pick now should also work after your ERP changes. Our Dynamics GP AP automation guide covers that timeline.
- Whether you need procurement at all. If requisitions were a formality, dropping them and keeping a dollar approval threshold on invoices is often enough.
- Line-level coding. Ariett users coded invoices against a real chart of accounts. Test any replacement on your longest multi-line vendor bill.
- Pricing model. Per user, per payment, or flat. At 300 payments a month, a $0.59 ACH fee alone is over $2,000 a year.
- Exit terms. You have just been through a forced migration. Prefer a vendor whose cancellation you can execute yourself.
