NetSuite AP automation has no list price. Bill Capture is a quoted add-on to your NetSuite subscription, approvals run on SuiteFlow you configure yourself, and payments through Intelligent Payment Automation cost $0.59 per ACH and $1.99 per check on BILL's published schedule. AutoPayables reads, codes, matches and syncs bills to NetSuite for a published $49 or $149 a month.

What a NetSuite team gets for $49 or $149 a month
Capture, coding, matching and payment files, with the results synced back to NetSuite.
Invoice capture with line items
Upload PDFs or forward invoices by email. Vendor, dates, totals and every line are read, not just the header.
Line level GL coding
Each line gets a suggested GL account. Confirm it once and the next bill from that vendor arrives coded.
Two and three way PO matching
Bills are checked against purchase orders and received quantities, with a tolerance you set.
Duplicate invoice checks
Repeat files, repeat invoice numbers and lookalike amounts are flagged before a payment run.
NetSuite sync without a SuiteApp
Vendors, vendor bills and vendor payments post to NetSuite through token based authentication.
Pay from your own bank
Download NACHA ACH files, check PDFs with Positive Pay, or ISO 20022 wire files, at your bank's rates.
How to price NetSuite AP automation for your volume
An afternoon with last month's bills gives you a number to put next to an Oracle quote.
Count bills and payments
Pull last month's vendor bill count from NetSuite and split payments into ACH, check and wire.
Price the payment layer
Multiply ACH by $0.59 and checks by $1.99 to see what Intelligent Payment Automation would charge each year.
Run a real batch through AutoPayables
Upload those bills, review the coding and matches, and connect a NetSuite sandbox to watch them post.
Compare published against quoted
Put $288 or $888 a year beside the Bill Capture quote, the workflow setup hours and the payment fees.
Where native NetSuite AP leaves work and cost on the table
An honest read of the native stack for a team handling a few hundred bills a month.
Native Bill Capture and SuiteFlow
- Bill Capture price is quoted inside your Oracle renewal
- Non-PO bills still coded by hand on the review page
- Approval workflow built by an admin or a partner
- Per-payment fees on every ACH and check
- Payments only to US vendors in USD
AutoPayables synced to NetSuite
- $49 or $149 a month, published
- Line level GL suggestions learned per vendor
- One dollar threshold, set in a minute, with a log
- Payment files for your own bank, no per-payment fee from us
- ISO 20022 wire files for foreign vendors by BIC and IBAN
NetSuite teams that compare these costs
They usually arrive with a renewal quote and a growing invoice inbox.
Distributors on NetSuite
Hundreds of PO-backed supplier bills a month, where three way matching saves more than capture does.
Multi-subsidiary service companies
Each subsidiary needs its own BILL sign up for native payments. Bank files from one AP tool avoid that.
Controllers at NetSuite renewal
A published price and a monthly term are easier to defend than another line in the Oracle quote.
Teams that outgrew Bill Capture
The review page became the bottleneck and someone still keys GL codes on every non-PO bill.
NetSuite AP automation cost at a glance
Oracle does not publish a price for NetSuite itself, for Bill Capture or for the AP automation features around it. Every NetSuite AP number you will find is either a partner quote, a directory estimate or a per-transaction fee. The one exception is payments. Since October 2025, NetSuite Intelligent Payment Automation runs on BILL, and BILL publishes the fee schedule for it. So the honest way to price NetSuite AP automation is in three layers: the NetSuite license you already pay, the capture and approval layer, and the cost of each payment you send.
| Layer | Native NetSuite option | Published price | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| NetSuite license | Core platform plus named users | Not published. Third-party estimates cite about $999 a month plus about $120 per user per month | Vendor bills, purchase orders, item receipts, AP aging, ACH through SuitePayments |
| Invoice capture | Bill Capture | Not published. Sold as an add-on to the subscription, quoted by Oracle or a partner | Reads vendor bills from upload or email into a bill draft for review |
| Approvals | SuiteApprovals or SuiteFlow workflows | Included, but you configure the workflow yourself or pay a partner to build it | Routes vendor bills for approval inside NetSuite |
| Payments | Intelligent Payment Automation powered by BILL | ACH $0.59, check $1.99, virtual card free where the vendor accepts it | Pays US vendors in USD from your bank account inside NetSuite |
| AutoPayables Growth | Syncs to NetSuite | $49 a month, or $288 a year billed annually | 200 invoices a month, AI capture, line coding, PO matching, approvals, ACH, check and wire files |
| AutoPayables Scale | Syncs to NetSuite | $149 a month, or $888 a year billed annually | Unlimited invoices, REST API, dedicated onboarding |
The license line is the one you cannot shop. The capture line is where most of the variance sits, because Bill Capture, ZoneCapture, Stampli, Tipalti and AvidXchange are all quoted, and a quote for 300 invoices a month can land anywhere from a few hundred dollars to several thousand. The payment line is predictable once you know your ACH and check mix.

NetSuite Bill Capture pricing and what the add-on covers
Bill Capture is not free. NetSuite partners describe it as an add-on module that you add to your annual subscription, priced inside your Oracle quote, and no list price exists. Oracle's own help pages are clear about what it handles. It reads a bill with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Document Understanding and puts the values on a review page, where someone confirms them before the vendor bill is created.
The published limits are worth reading before you sign, because they shape how much manual work stays with your team:
- Bill Capture is listed as available in the United States, and partners report UK support only for accounts with SuiteTax enabled.
- PDF, JPEG and PNG only. PDFs up to 30 pages, images one page each, and one bill per file.
- Files up to 8 MB, and Oracle recommends uploading no more than 50 files at a time.
- Email intake takes up to 20 attachments per message and 10 MB in total.
- Bills without a purchase order cannot carry serial or lot numbered items, bins, inventory status or mandatory line level custom fields.
Capture is also only the first step. Routing still runs through SuiteApprovals or a SuiteFlow workflow that someone has to design, and GL, department and location coding on non-PO bills is still largely typed by hand. That setup time is a real cost even when the license line looks small.
NetSuite Intelligent Payment Automation fees
This is the only part of native NetSuite AP with a public price list. BILL processes the payments and charges per transaction. These are the fixed fees BILL lists for the NetSuite partner product:
| Payment or exception | Fee |
|---|---|
| ACH payment | $0.59 |
| Check | $1.99 |
| Virtual card | Free, if the vendor accepts it |
| Pay Faster ACH (same day or next day) | $11.99 |
| Pay Faster check, overnight, two day, three day | $24.99, $19.99, $14.99 |
| Void a check | $25.00 |
| Failed ACH after the receiver is paid | $50.00 |
| Re-debit after failed funding | $25.00 |
Oracle's FAQ adds the constraints that matter for budgeting. Payments go only to vendors with a valid US address, only in US dollars, and each subsidiary needs its own US address and its own BILL sign up. BILL runs KYC and fraud checks before money moves and can reject a subsidiary, in which case those vendors have to be paid another way. A single payment run can hold up to 10,000 transactions and 35 bills per vendor.
What NetSuite AP automation costs per year at 300 invoices a month
Take a US distributor on NetSuite that receives 300 vendor bills a month and pays them with 250 ACH payments and 50 checks. The NetSuite license is the same in every row, so it is left out.
| Setup | Capture and approvals | Payment cost per year | Known yearly total before the license |
|---|---|---|---|
| Native NetSuite with Bill Capture and Intelligent Payment Automation | Bill Capture add-on, quoted | $1,770 ACH plus $1,194 checks = $2,964 | $2,964 plus the Bill Capture quote and workflow setup |
| BILL standalone | Enterprise tier, custom quote, because NetSuite sync is Enterprise only | Same ACH and check fees as above | Unknown until quoted |
| Tipalti | From $99 a month for AP | Per invoice and per payment fees, quoted | $1,188 plus transaction fees |
| Stampli or ZoneCapture | Quote only | Depends on the payment add-on chosen | Unknown until quoted |
| AutoPayables Scale with NetSuite sync | Included, unlimited invoices | Your bank's own ACH and check rates, through NACHA and check files we generate | $888 a year |
Directory estimates for the quoted tools vary widely. One NetSuite partner guide cites Stampli at $250 to $1,500 a month and Tipalti at $500 to $2,500 a month before transaction fees. Those are third-party figures, not vendor price lists, so use them only to check whether a quote is in a normal range.
What AutoPayables does and does not do for a NetSuite team
| Does | Does not |
|---|---|
| Reads invoices from upload or a forwarded email, header and every line item | Move money for you. Payments leave your own bank from the files we build |
| Suggests a GL account per line and remembers it per vendor | Issue virtual cards or pay card rebates |
| Matches bills to purchase orders two way or three way with a tolerance | Run multi-step approval chains by department or role. You set one dollar threshold |
| Flags duplicate invoices by file, vendor and number, and vendor, amount and date | Replace NetSuite as your ledger or your purchasing system |
| Syncs vendors, vendor bills and vendor payments to NetSuite through token based authentication | Require a partner implementation or a SuiteApp install |
| Builds NACHA ACH files, check PDFs with Positive Pay, and ISO 20022 wire files | Charge per payment or per user |
The NetSuite connection uses the same route NetSuite offers any integration. You create an integration record and an access token in NetSuite and paste the account ID and keys into AutoPayables. Vendors arrive as vendor records, approved bills as vendor bills with expense lines, and payments as vendor payments applied to those bills. There is no SuiteApp bundle to install and no partner hours on the invoice.
When native NetSuite AP is the cheaper choice
If you already own Bill Capture, process under a couple of hundred bills a month in USD, and have an admin who is comfortable building SuiteFlow approvals, staying native is reasonable. The per-payment fees are low and nothing leaves NetSuite. A separate AP tool earns its cost when the review page becomes the bottleneck, when non-PO bills still need hand coding, when you need duplicate checks before payment, or when you want to pay through your own bank's ACH contract instead of per-transaction fees. If you are comparing the add-on against third-party tools on features rather than price, our guide to NetSuite Bill Capture alternatives walks through what each one replaces, and the best AP automation software for NetSuite compares sync depth vendor by vendor.
The fastest way to get a number for your own volume is to try it. Upload a month of real NetSuite vendor bills, connect a sandbox account, and see the coded bills land. Your first 20 invoices are a one-time trial, then $49 or $149 a month, published and cancellable. You can compare that with other published plans on our AP automation pricing page, or with BILL pricing and Tipalti pricing in detail.
Frequently asked questions
There is no list price. NetSuite AP automation is the NetSuite license, plus Bill Capture as a quoted add-on, plus per-payment fees if you use Intelligent Payment Automation, which BILL lists at $0.59 per ACH and $1.99 per check. Third-party tools range from a published $49 a month to quotes in the thousands.
No. NetSuite partners describe Bill Capture as an add-on you add to your NetSuite subscription, priced inside your Oracle quote. Oracle does not publish a price for it, so the only way to learn the cost is to ask your account manager or partner.
BILL processes the payments and publishes the fees. ACH is $0.59, a check is $1.99, a virtual card is free where the vendor accepts it, and faster ACH is $11.99. Voiding a check costs $25. Payments are for US vendors in US dollars only.
Partly. NetSuite handles vendor bills, purchase orders, three way matching against item receipts and SuiteFlow approvals. Bill Capture reads invoices as an add-on. Line coding on non-PO bills, duplicate checks and the approval workflow design are left largely to your team or a partner.
Among tools that publish a price and sync to NetSuite, AutoPayables at $49 a month for 200 invoices or $149 a month for unlimited is the lowest. BILL syncs NetSuite only on its custom Enterprise tier, and Tipalti starts at $99 a month plus transaction fees.
With AutoPayables it takes as long as creating an integration record and an access token in NetSuite and pasting the keys in, usually under an hour. Partner-built SuiteApp projects and custom workflows can run from weeks to months.
