The best Corpay alternative depends on why you are leaving. If you want AP software at a price you can see today, AutoPayables costs $49 a month for 200 invoices or $149 for unlimited, with no sales call. If you need a payment network, BILL publishes per-user pricing from $49 and AvidXchange and Tipalti run managed payments. Corpay itself publishes no price, so every option below is compared on what you can actually verify.

What to check in any Corpay alternative

Corpay sells a payment network with AP attached. Decide which half you actually need before you compare vendors.

A price you can see

Corpay does not publish pricing. BILL, Ramp, Melio and AutoPayables do. If budget approval depends on a number, start with vendors who show one.

Whether you need the payment rail

Rebates and managed vendor enrollment are Corpay's strongest features. If most of your vendors will not take cards, you may be paying for a network you barely use.

Capture accuracy on your invoices

Upload a real bill from your worst vendor. A good tool reads the header and every line item without a template, including scanned PDFs.

Line-level GL coding

Many bills span several expense accounts. Check that each line can carry its own GL code, not just the invoice header.

Duplicate checks and PO matching

Look for duplicate detection before approval and two-way or three-way matching against purchase orders and receipts.

Your accounting system

Confirm QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite or Sage Intacct support by name. Corpay lists NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Dynamics 365 and Acumatica.

How to test a Corpay alternative in one afternoon

You can run a new AP tool beside Corpay until you trust it.

1

Upload five real invoices

Pick the messiest ones: multi-page, scanned, many line items. Check what the AI extracted against the paper.

2

Code lines and set a threshold

Map lines to your GL accounts and choose the dollar amount above which a bill needs approval.

3

Match against a purchase order

Enter or import a PO and confirm the bill matches it, then try a duplicate to see it flagged.

4

Sync and compare cost

Sync approved bills to your ledger and compare the monthly price with your Corpay quote and rebate history.

Corpay Complete vs a capture-first AP tool

Where each approach earns its cost.

When Corpay is overkill

  • Pricing only after a sales conversation
  • Paying for rebates your vendors will not generate
  • Invoice coding still done at header level by hand
  • Onboarding that starts with an implementation call
  • Duplicates caught only after payment

With AutoPayables

  • $49 or $149 a month, listed on the pricing page
  • Pay vendors from the bank you already use, no network fee
  • AI capture with each line coded to its own GL account
  • Self-serve signup, first invoice processed the same day
  • Duplicate checks and PO matching before approval

Who switches from Corpay, and who should not

Honest fit, based on what each product does.

Distributors and wholesalers with small vendors

Hundreds of bills a month from vendors who want ACH or check. Capture and coding are the bottleneck, not payment reach.

Controllers who need a number this quarter

Budget is approved and the team cannot wait for a quote cycle. Published pricing lets you buy and start the same week.

Teams on QuickBooks, Xero or NetSuite

Approved, coded bills sync to the ledger, so month-end does not depend on a second system.

Who should stay on Corpay

Large card-accepting vendor bases, cross-border payment volume, or teams that want Corpay's staff to run vendor enrollment.

Corpay alternatives compared: pricing, capture, payments and fit

The table below uses each vendor's own pricing page where one exists. Where a vendor does not publish a price, it says so instead of guessing. Prices were checked in September 2026 and change often, so confirm on the vendor's site before you sign.

Why finance teams look for a Corpay alternative

Corpay is a payments company first. It started as FLEETCOR, the fuel card business, and took the Corpay name in 2024. Its AP offering grew out of the Nvoicepay acquisition, and in July 2025 it announced Corpay Complete, which bundles invoice capture, approvals, PO matching, expenses, cards and payments into one platform. Its own AP page calls it "the only fully-managed AP automation software on the market", and the managed part is the real product: Corpay enrolls your vendors in virtual card and ACH, chases the ones who refuse, and pays you rebates on the card spend. Corpay says its network pays out more than $800M a year in rebates.

That model suits a company with a large, card-friendly vendor base. It suits a 30-person distributor with 400 bills a month less well, and the reasons buyers give for shopping around are consistent:

  • No public price. Corpay does not publish pricing for Corpay Complete. The Corpay One pricing URL we tried in September 2026 returned a fuel card agreement PDF instead of plan prices. You cannot budget without a sales conversation.
  • Rebates are not free money for everyone. Card rebates depend on vendors accepting cards, and suppliers who accept them pay the interchange. Some vendors push back or add surcharges. If most of your vendors are small local trades, the rebate line in the pitch may never show up.
  • The capture side is not the headline. Corpay markets invoice automation, but its site leads with payment reach and rebates. Teams whose real bottleneck is keying invoices, coding lines to GL accounts and chasing approvals often want a tool built around that step.
  • Onboarding and support. On Capterra, Corpay averages 4.5 out of 5 from 38 reviews, and most are positive. The critical ones mention enrollment roadblocks, siloed departments and replies that take "a few days".

Is Corpay the same as Corpay One?

No. Corpay Complete is the mid-market AP and payments platform built on the Nvoicepay business. Corpay One is a separate small business AP product, formerly sold as Roger, priced per team rather than per user. If a reviewer or a directory lists "Corpay" without saying which one, check before you compare features, because the two are sold, priced and supported differently.

What are the main Corpay competitors?

The main Corpay competitors for accounts payable are AvidXchange, BILL, Tipalti, Stampli, Ramp and Melio. AvidXchange is the closest like-for-like, since both sell AP software plus a managed payment network. It is also now partly owned by Corpay: Corpay and TPG took AvidXchange private in October 2025 in a $2.2 billion deal, with Corpay holding 33 percent. We compare the two head to head on our Corpay vs AvidXchange page.

When should you stay with Corpay?

Stay if your vendor base is large enough that card rebates offset what you pay, if you want Corpay's team to handle vendor enrollment and payment exceptions for you, or if you already send cross-border payments through Corpay. None of the self-serve tools on this page will match a managed enrollment team, and AutoPayables does not move money at all. Being honest about that saves you a bad switch.

When a Corpay alternative makes more sense

Look elsewhere if your problem sits before the payment: invoices arriving as PDFs in a shared inbox, lines coded by hand, approvals chased over email, the same bill entered twice. In that case you are paying for a payment network to fix a data entry problem. A capture-first tool at a published price, used alongside the bank you already pay from, usually costs less and goes live faster. If you want to see how that compares on price, our AP automation with no transaction fees page and the self-serve AP automation page show which vendors let you buy without a scoping call.

How AutoPayables fits as a Corpay alternative

AutoPayables reads each invoice with AI (vendor, invoice number, PO number, dates, subtotal, tax, shipping, total and every line item), lets you code each line to its own GL account, runs duplicate checks and two-way or three-way PO matching, and sends anything above your approval threshold for sign-off with a full audit trail. Approved bills sync to QuickBooks, Xero or NetSuite. Growth is $49 a month for 200 invoices, Scale is $149 a month with unlimited invoices and API access, and annual billing costs ten months' worth.

What it does not do matters just as much in a Corpay comparison. There is no payment rail, so no virtual cards, no rebates and no managed vendor enrollment. Approvals use one dollar threshold, not multi-level routing by department or location. If those are must-haves, Corpay or AvidXchange will serve you better.

Frequently asked questions

The best Corpay alternatives for accounts payable are AutoPayables, BILL, Tipalti, AvidXchange, Stampli, Ramp and Melio. Pick AutoPayables if you want capture, line coding and PO matching at a published $49 or $149 a month. Pick BILL or Melio for simple bill pay, Tipalti for global payouts, and AvidXchange for a managed payment network.

Corpay's main competitors in accounts payable are AvidXchange, BILL, Tipalti, Stampli, Ramp and Melio, and in cross-border payments Wise and Convera. AvidXchange is the closest match, since both sell AP software with a managed payment network, and Corpay has owned 33 percent of AvidXchange since the October 2025 take-private deal.

Corpay does not publish pricing for Corpay Complete. You get a quote after a sales conversation, and part of the value case usually rests on virtual card rebates, which depend on how many of your vendors accept cards. By contrast, AutoPayables lists $49 a month for 200 invoices and $149 a month for unlimited invoices.

No. Corpay Complete is Corpay's mid-market AP and payments platform, built on the Nvoicepay business. Corpay One is a separate small business product, formerly sold as Roger, priced per team. Check which product a review or quote refers to before comparing features.

No. AutoPayables has no payment rail, virtual cards or rebates. It captures, codes, matches and approves bills, syncs them to QuickBooks, Xero or NetSuite, and records the payments you make from your own bank. If managed vendor payments are the reason you bought Corpay, keep a payment provider alongside it.

Corpay Complete is aimed at mid-market companies with enough card-friendly vendors to earn rebates. Small businesses paying a few hundred bills a month to local vendors usually get more from a tool with published pricing and self-serve setup, such as BILL, Melio or AutoPayables.
